Before your first class
Classes welcome beginners from age 3 onwards, with small-group instruction tailored to each level.
About this studio
Backstage Dance specializes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, tumbling, musical theater jazz and dance team training. Classes run from beginner to advanced level and accept students from age 3 onwards. The studio emphasizes small class sizes for personalized instruction.
Your child will perform three times a year: at the Summer Show, Christmas Show and Recital. A new Summer Show has been added at the end of the ten-week summer dance session, giving students more performance opportunities throughout the year.
Grades 2–12 are invited to audition for the Performance Team. An informational parent meeting is held before auditions to explain what the team involves and answer questions.
All classes feature family-friendly music, moves and costumes, making the studio accessible for younger dancers and those new to structured dance training.

Your first visit
Classes are small and personalized, with instruction suited to your child's level. You'll see age-appropriate choreography set to family-friendly music, and your child will have three performance opportunities each year.
