Wear something comfortable that allows you to move easily and comfortable shoes. For wedding lessons, bring your wedding shoes if you've already purchased them so instructors can assess comfort and dancing capability. Leather-sole shoes are suggested for gentlemen; a shoe with a back is suggested for ladies. Athletic shoes do not work well on the ballroom dance floor.
