Holy City Dance Center

Holy City Dance Center is a nationally award-winning studio with two locations: Clements Ferry in Charleston and Summerville. Both studios span over 5,000 sq. ft. and feature professional shock-absorbing flooring, full-length mirrors, specialized training equipment, and high-quality sound systems.

HCDC serves dancers from toddler through age 18 across recreational and competitive programs. Recreational classes include jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, acro-dance, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, and jumps & turns. The studio also runs an inclusive dance program designed for dancers of all abilities. Many recreational classes participate in an end-of-year recital.

The competitive program is by audition only and offers regional and national competition opportunities, guest artist workshops, photoshoots, in-house master classes and intensives, solo, duo, trio and group performance opportunities, and community performances. Competitive dancers train with a focus on technique, artistry, versatility, and stage presence.

Faculty members hold degrees in or are pursuing studies in dance pedagogy, dance performance, exercise science, and physical therapy. The studio prioritizes proper technique, mentorship, and age-appropriate training, combining elite-level instruction with a positive atmosphere. Throughout the season, dancers have access to guest instructors, specialty workshops, and master classes led by industry professionals.

HCDC also offers summer training programs, master classes and intensives, and private studio rentals for rehearsals, workshops, auditions, photo shoots, and events at both locations. Birthday parties are available with customizable dance-themed celebrations including dance instruction, games, themed activities, music and choreography, obstacle courses or tumbling, and party room time.
