Kelcy's Dance Studio is located on the Art Park campus in east Wichita and offers dance education across multiple styles for dancers of all ages and skill levels. The studio features over 10,000 square feet of dance space with six fully equipped studios, plus a dancer's lounge, creating room for a wide variety of classes in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.
Classes run from beginner to advanced level in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, acro, and musical theatre for ages 3 to adult. The studio's goal is to instil a passion for dance and the arts while building confidence and self-esteem. Beyond technique, instructors emphasise developing creativity and fostering life skills including dedication, perseverance, teamwork, responsibility, and respect.
For dancers seeking competitive experience, Kelcy's Dance Studio operates two competition programmes. Platinum Dance Company was established in 2012 and welcomes dancers ages 5–18, competing at local and regional conventions and competitions throughout the year. Elite Visionary Unit, created in 2022, specialises in hip-hop and commercial dance, training dancers of all ages and skill levels through weekly classes, hip-hop conventions, masterclasses, community events, and competitions. Both programmes offer three competition levels: novice (0–2 hours combined classes/rehearsal per week), intermediate (2–5 hours per week), and advanced (5+ hours per week).
