About this studio

Ms. Lisa's Dance is a children's dance studio in Tampa with two locations: the main studio at 3805 West San Miguel Street and the dedicated acro and tumbling facility at 4535 S. Dale Mabry Highway. The studio has been teaching dancers in the Tampa area for 24 years and is described as an award-winning team dedicated to providing dance instruction while empowering tomorrow's leaders.

The studio serves every age from infants through adults. Baby classes include Tiny Tutus (10–18 months) and Baby Ballerina (18–24 months), both structured as parent-and-child bonding experiences. Toddler offerings span ages 2–3 and include Twinkle Toes Two, Mommy & Me Ballet, Ballet & Tap, Tiny Tumblers, and Tutu & Tumble. Preschool classes (ages 3–5) cover ballet, tap, acro, musical theatre, pre-ballet, jazz, hip hop, cheer dance, and combo styles that blend ballet, jazz, hip hop and acro.

Youth and teen classes progress through structured acro levels (1 through 7/8) using the Acrobatic Arts program with acrobatic-certified teachers. Ballet progresses through levels I, II and III, and the studio offers group dance competition teams, cheer competition teams by audition, and ballet performance groups. Adult classes are also available.

Ms. Lisa's Dance runs an annual Spring Recital where many classes perform. Acro classes do not perform in the recital; instead, parents are invited into the studio twice a year to see what dancers have been learning. The studio also offers birthday parties, summer camps, summer workshops, and intensives. A small on-site boutique sells leotards, tights, tap shoes, and ballet shoes.
