Premiere Dance Academy has been positioning students for success since 2004. The studio teaches ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, acrobatic dance, hip hop, lyrical, and contemporary dance to children of all ages, starting from age 2½. Classes are deliberately kept small to provide each student with individualized attention.
The studio is an Acrobatic Arts Certified Studio, meaning instructors follow the Acrobatic Arts syllabus and are trained in safety, spotting techniques, and teaching methods. This certification covers five core areas: flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering, and tumbling, with skills taught in safe, correct progressions.
Premiere's teaching team includes Jennifer Loterzo, Sara Herlong, Danielle Montney, Sara Christman, Amber Crittenden, Lindsey Rose, and Skylar Loterzo. The studio structures classes by age and skill level, from Kinderdance for ages 2½–4 (incorporating ballet, creative movement, and basic tap) through intermediate and high intermediate levels. Homeschool lyrical classes are also available.
The studio emphasises building a strong foundation and a close-knit family dynamic. Many dancers stay from their first class until high school graduation—for some, over 15 years. The studio hosts a full-season recital annually (the 22nd in 2025–2026, held at the Perkinson Center for the Arts on May 30). Competition Team and Express Yourself programmes are also offered.
