Raleigh Dance & Tumble teaches dance and acrobatics to students from early childhood through advanced levels. Beyond technique, the comprehensive programs focus on instilling essential life skills—hard work, determination, self-belief, and the value of supporting peers and working as a team.
The studio offers recreational classes across multiple styles and durations, from 30-minute sessions up to 6 hours per week. For dancers ready to advance, Raleigh Dance & Tumble runs competitive company teams—the Excel Company (co-directed by Lauren Mancini) and the Shine Company (co-directed by Breanne Kohler)—selected by teacher recommendation. These competitive programmes are designed to build even stronger dedication, discipline, and teamwork.
The teaching team brings substantial credentials and experience. Kathryn Hamrick, owner and director, trained at Jami Masters School of Dance in Charlotte starting at age 7, continued at North Carolina Dance Theater, earned a B.S. in ballet from Indiana University on scholarship, and danced professionally with Charleston Ballet Theater before transitioning to teaching 14 years ago. Lauren Mancini is a certified Acrobatic Arts teacher who founded the Acro Company and has been teaching for over eight years. Breanne Kohler holds a BFA from Columbia College Chicago and has over a decade of professional teaching and choreography experience, including full-length ballet productions. Adrienne McGuire brings more than 30 years of dance education experience, holds a BFA in Dance, spent nearly 20 years as Ballet Director, serves as Advocacy Chair for the North Carolina Dance Education Organization, and is a licensed K–12 dance educator with Wake County Public Schools. Tehya Shere, Elena Englert, Lilly Beam, and Cassie Beaver round out the team, each bringing their own competitive and teaching backgrounds.
The studio is located at 2020 Progress Court Suite 101 in Raleigh and offers summer camp, birthday party hosting, and other community programming. Breanne Kohler holds a BFA from Columbia College Chicago and has over a decade of professional teaching and choreography experience. Adrienne McGuire brings over 30 years of dance education, a BFA in Dance, and extensive competition and company direction experience. Additional instructors include Tehya Shere, Elena Englert, Lilly Beam, and Cassie Beaver.

Studio history
Kathryn Hamrick started dancing at Jami Masters School of Dance in Charlotte at age 7, continued training at North Carolina Dance Theater, earned a B.S. in ballet from Indiana University on scholarship, and danced professionally with Charleston Ballet Theater for three years before transitioning to teaching and eventually opening Raleigh Dance & Tumble.
