About this studio
Bloom Dance Studio operates four locations across the Omaha metro area (Blondo, Elkhorn, Oakview, and Valley), each designed to serve dancers from age 2 through adulthood. The Blondo location at 2067 N 156th Street opened in 2016 as the studio's original home and remains a cornerstone of the community, serving ages 2–12 with one studio space and a waiting area. The studio's philosophy centers on three core commitments: creating an encouraging environment where every dancer feels safe and supported, providing excellent instruction from passionate dance teachers who understand how to break down movement in developmentally appropriate ways, and maintaining a commitment to modesty in choreography, music, and costume choices.
Classes span a full range of styles—ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, acrobatics, contemporary, and musical theater—with offerings for absolute beginners through advanced pre-professional dancers. Bloom's structured programs include Cultivate (a dedicated ballet training program), Ember (a high school performance team), Solaris (a pre-professional training program), Seeds (worship through dance), and Thrive (an adaptive dance class). The studio also produces an annual Nutcracker production and offers private lessons in 30-minute, 45-minute, and 60-minute formats, with pricing from $50 per single 30-minute session to $375 for a five-lesson 60-minute package.
Enrollment operates on a month-to-month basis with no contracts required. All-inclusive pricing covers monthly tuition, recital costumes, and alterations. For those wanting a low-commitment introduction, Bloom Burst offers six-week sessions starting at $129 with no costumes or recitals. Summer classes run for six weeks beginning the week of June 8th (with a break for the week of June 29–July 4), ranging from $129 for 30-minute classes to $179 for 90-minute sessions, or $499 for an unlimited pass. Summer camps consist of five consecutive days of three-hour themed sessions that include dance instruction, crafts, snacks, and outdoor time, culminating in a brief showcase performance for parents.
Every instructor is background-checked and trained to foster a positive, encouraging environment. The studio emphasizes small class sizes with safety protocols and maintains an up-to-date parent portal for regular communication. Recital dates vary by location: Blondo performs May 22, 2027; Elkhorn May 14–15, 2027; Oakview May 7–8, 2027; and Valley May 21, 2027. Oakview, which opened in 2022, is the largest location with five studio spaces and an auditorium, serving as the hub for spring recitals and specialty programs. Valley, the newest location opening in 2024, offers a more intimate experience with smaller class sizes.
