Dance with Steve and Donna is run by two experienced competitive and social dance instructors in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, a short drive south of Louisville. Donna Caudill is a five-time World Champion professional dancer with 25+ years of dance experience and the first US competitor to achieve Crown Superstar status in Line Dance with the UCWDC. She holds dual certifications as a journeyman-level dance judge for the UCWDC in Line, Couples and ProAm, is a licensed Zumba instructor, and is certified in T'ai Chi through the Arthritis Foundation. Steve Davis is a dance instructor and coach with the UCWDC, with international and national dance competition experience in choreography and Pro-Am competition, and holds a Master's degree in Counseling with over 25 years of practice.
The studio teaches ballroom, Latin, swing, country, line dance, belly dance, hula, tap, jazz, ballet, tai chi, stretch, hip hop, clogging, Zumba, yoga, Pilates and wedding choreography. Classes are offered for all ages from 7 years old upwards and for all skill levels, from beginner through advanced. The schedule includes Monday Line Dance (11:30 am–1:00 pm), Tuesday TuneUp Tuesday with strength and balance (10:00–10:45 am), Wednesday Zumba Fitness (6:30–7:15 pm), Thursday Group Line Dance and patterned partner classes (6:30–8:20 pm, with Latin dances including Salsa, Rumba and Cha Cha in January and February), and Monday Strength Training and Yoga (4:30–6:30 pm).
The studio operates two full-service dance floors with two separate sound systems in two separate rooms. Private lessons are truly private with no sharing of the floor or music. Group classes start at $8 per session, with class packs available—10 classes for $65 or 6 classes for $47. Private lessons are $65 per hour per couple or single student. Wedding dance choreography is $75 per hour and includes teaching the first dance; the studio choreographs to account for the couple's dress, shoes, reception setup, entrance and exit, and camera angles for photographer and videographer.
The studio accepts Silver Sneakers, Renew Active, Silver Fit and ASH insurance. Small class sizes ensure each student receives individualized attention and personalized feedback. The team is made up of experienced and passionate dance professionals dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where students can learn and grow.
