DanceIt Studios has been operating since 1984, establishing itself as a significant presence in South Africa's dance education landscape. The studio runs two locations: the main branch in Glenanda, Johannesburg South, and a second branch at Fundamental Faculty and Factory in Three Rivers, Vereeniging.

The studio offers classes across a wide range of styles. Open classes run weekly in Hip Hop, Modern, Tap, Acro, Ballet, Popping and K-Pop, designed to build technique and fundamentals across disciplines. Beyond these, the studio teaches Performing Arts Street Dance, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Locking, House, Dancehall, Amapiano, and Sbhujwa. Classes are structured for all ages and levels, from Tiny Tots (ages 4 and up) through to advanced students and adults. Beginner adult classes are offered in Hip Hop, Tap, and Modern for those wanting to dance socially and stay fit.

The studio's competitive program is substantial. DanceIt's Competition Squad operates as a high-performance program, and the studio has achieved significant recognition at international level. Recent titles include IDO World Hip Hop Group Champions (Havock, 2017), IDO World Hip Hop Duo Champions (Silakhe Mlawuli & Tshepang Nathane, 2017), IDO World Street Dance Show Solo Champion (Janete Francisco, 2024), and IDO African Solo Champion (Clarishca Viljoen, 2025). Many dancers have earned South African Protea Colours for Dance Sport.

Exam training is provided under the South African Body of Dance (SABOD) syllabus in Tap, Modern, and Hip Hop, from beginner levels through to Associate Level teacher qualifications. The studio hosts exams with accredited SABOD examiners and has supported numerous graduates achieving Dance Teacher Qualifications. The studio is an affiliate member of SABOD.

The teaching philosophy emphasizes creating a welcoming, inclusive community for all dancers regardless of age or skill level. All classes are taught by highly qualified and passionate instructors with a track record of success. Notable teachers include Clarishca Viljoen, a resident choreographer, teacher and trainer who won the IDO African Solo Champion title in 2025. Janete Francisco is a featured performer who achieved IDO World Hip Hop Female Solo Champion - 4th (2023), IDO World All-Styles Solo Finalist - 4th (2023), and IDO World Street Dance Show Solo Champion (2024). Silakhe Mlawuli and Tshepang Nathane are IDO World Hip Hop Duo Champions (2017).
