About this studio

Elite Dance Studio has been a fixture of Salt Lake Valley dance education since 1989, growing from a small operation into a multi-skill-level studio serving recreational dancers and competition companies. The studio teaches ballet, jazz, contemporary, acro, hip hop, tap, and aerial silks across levels designed for 1st grade through high school students.

The studio runs both recreational classes and competitive company programs. Recreational classes are organised by grade level (Level 1 through Level 7, which covers teens in grades 9–12). Company placement happens by audition each May. The 2026–27 season runs from 31 August through 20 May, with a spring recital scheduled for 15 May and in-house winter shows in December. The studio also hosts specialised events including a Silks Showcase in May.

Recreational tuition ranges from $75 per month for one class per week to $445 for ten or more classes weekly, billed over a 9-month school year. A one-time $35 registration fee applies to new and returning students. Private lessons are available at $30 for 30 minutes or $50 for 50 minutes. Students in performing classes pay a $195 performance package fee (due 11 January) that covers costume, recital t-shirt, performance photos, video, and production costs.

The studio has organised national-scale experiences: parent reviews mention invitations to nationally acclaimed guest instructors, in-house dance conventions, and trips to New York City and Disneyland for performances and training. A Disney Paris trip is planned for 2027. Free trial classes are available by contacting the office, subject to class capacity.

Accounts are managed through DanceStudio Pro with automatic monthly billing. Cash and cheque payments can be made at the office by the 1st of each month. Withdrawal requests must be submitted before the 1st to avoid charges for the following month.
