About this studio

Lexington Dance Factory teaches ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, pointe, acro, and musical theatre to students from 1.5 years through adult. The studio runs three main programs: Developmental classes for dancers 5 and under using a themed multi-sensory educational curriculum; Enrichment classes for kindergarten and above who want to learn without committing to competition; and an Accelerated Program comprising the LDF Ballet Academy (professional-level ballet training) and competition team classes.

Classes run seven days a week across morning, afternoon, evening and weekend slots. The Developmental Program includes classes like Tiny Tumble, Twinkle Toes, Tumble Tots, and Preschool Dance, plus a free Dance With Me class for children under 2. The Enrichment Program offers Combo classes at different levels, Rec Acro (1, 1/2, 2/3), and age-grouped Hip Hop and Flip & Hop classes. Aerial silks training is available on Sundays at three levels. The studio also runs a full-leveled acro program called The LDF Gym.

The facility includes multiple studios (A, B, and D) to accommodate different classes simultaneously. The studio emphasises affordable professional instruction—keeping tuition low so every child can afford to learn and love dance. They offer free LDF Boyz classes and free Mommy & Me classes.

Summer programming includes themed camps such as Hip Hop Hula Party, Acro Dance, K-Pop Dance, Swiftie Dance, Defying Gravity, Rainbows and Unicorns, and Princess Tea Party camps, running in multiple sessions from June through July. Summer classes also run as a six-week session. Winter programming includes a Nutcracker production and Winter Recital. The studio offers a parent portal for registration and account management.

Ms. Lindsay Roberts is the owner and director, celebrating her 25th year of teaching and her 16th year owning LDF. She is certified through Dance Masters of America.
