About this studio

GFF Damian Dance Studio, located at 109–113 Corporation Street in central Manchester, is described as Manchester's first all-inclusive pole and aerial dance studio. The studio operates with award-winning pole instructors and teaches dance styles from around the world.

Pole classes span multiple levels and formats. Beginners can start with foundation courses or open-level pole fitness classes. The studio offers Pole Fitness at beginner, intermediate, intermediate & advanced, and advanced levels, all 55 minutes long. Specialised formats include Spinning Pole at intermediate & advanced and open levels. Beyond fitness-focused pole, the studio teaches Pole Dance (with sensual choreography and heels work), Floorwork (beginners' introduction focusing on floor-based movement), Heels Tricks and Heels Combos, Chair Dance (alternating between tricks and choreography), and Striptease (sensual and seductive movement classes). All pole classes are 18+.

Aerial disciplines include Aerial Hoop (Lyra), Aerial Rope, Aerial Silks, and Aerial Yoga. Foundation courses run for five weeks with new courses starting every six weeks; these introduce complete beginners to multiple aerial disciplines or specialise in Aerial Hoop. Beginner-to-advanced hoop classes are available. Rope and silks classes are mixed level with instructors tailoring to each student's skill set. Aerial Yoga uses a hammock and combines traditional yoga with pilates and dance. All aerial classes are 16+.

Dance classes cover Dancehall (beginner to advanced), Reggaeton, Twerk (mixed level), Contemporary (mixed level), Hot in Heels (commercial dance combining street, pop and lyrical jazz), and Shuffle (mixed level). All dance classes are 16+.

The studio also runs Acrobalance (floor-based acrobatic balances, lifts and shapes in pairs or groups), Handstands (full-body control and flexibility work), and Stretch classes (all levels). Stretch classes are described as renowned for taking people from rigid to flexible.

Private services include one-on-one and one-on-two training sessions, and wedding dance lessons for couples. The studio offers studio hire, parties, and camps. Drop-in pricing is £12.50 per class (55 minutes), with a Happy Hour promotion at £7.50 for a single drop-in pole fitness session. Classes must be booked in advance. The studio is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11:00–21:30; Tuesday, Thursday 10:00–21:30; Saturday 09:00–17:00; Sunday 10:00–16:30.
