Biography
Chiara Re is a Dutch choreographer and theatre maker specializing in musical theatre and music theatre production. Born 26 March 1989 in Heerhugowaard, Netherlands, Re graduated from the Amsterdam University of the Arts in 2011. She performed in several stage productions before transitioning fully to choreography in 2015.
Re's choreographic work spans major musical theatre productions including *Sweeney Todd*, *My Fair Lady*, *Evita*, *Mamma Mia!*, *Saturday Night Fever*, and *Hairspray*. Her role extends beyond choreography to staging and production design, notably serving as choreographer and staging director for the large-scale production *Willem van Oranje*.
Beyond the stage, Re has worked in television choreography, contributing to NTR's *Het Klokhuis* and other screen productions. Her work on *Evita* earned a Musical Award nomination, and she received the Charlotte Köhler Prize in 2021, recognizing her contributions to Dutch musical theatre.
